We are Produttori del Gavi since 1951
WWe care for and cultivate the largest vineyard of the Gavi Docg denomination, with over 200 hectares covering 11 municipalities that are part of the Terre del Gavi.
We work on the details, selecting the most suitable plots and subzones, planning targeted operations in the vineyard to bring out the singular expressions of each area.
In the cellar, we highlight the differences. Separate vinifications, customized aging processes and temperature control allow our wines to express the most complete and rich range of Gavi Docg and Gavi di Gavi Docg on the market, enclosing the rich soils, microclimate and different locations in the bottle.
Our 80 members work side by side every day to fulfill the commitment to enhance our territory, united by the awareness of cultivating a unique land and producing the best white wine of Piedmont.
A LOGO FOR THE BOOKS
The logo of Produttori di Gavi embodies the values and the historical and social legacy of the cooperative. At the center is the acronym CSG, which stands for «Cantina Sociale di Gavi», as it was called when it was founded in 1951. On both sides are bunches of Cortese grapes, the fruit that made everything possible. Finally, the circle represents the «embrace» that entwines the members, and their cooperative and unified action to enhance their vineyards, strengthen their hard work and build up the territory they call «home».
